I have been blessed in my life. It all started on Christmas Day, my birthday. Having a birthday is great every day of the year, except on December 25th. Only those closest to you remember, and it is usually late in the day. It really is a small thing, but it has given me time to think about those who don’t even have enough to acknowledge family and friends during this wonderful time of the year. Events in people’s lives have a way of overwhelming them, leaving very little of themselves to give during Christmas season.
For decades, The Salvation Army has stepped up with their Red Kettles, giving us all the opportunity to help. Please consider what empty shelves and hard times would mean at your home this time of year, and join me in giving generously to the group that will touch the lives of 30 million people this year, The Salvation Army. Please help me fill my online Red Kettle and thank you!
