Help Cleveland Pummel Pittsburgh in 2011 Online Red Kettle!
Let the kettle settle that Cleveland is more generous than Pittsburgh! The Salvation Army in Cleveland and Pittsburgh go head-to-head to decide which city is more generous in raising mission-critical funds this Christmas.

There are so many reasons why Cleveland is 'better than the 'burgh', lets add another by showing we are more generous to our neighbors in need!

The Salvation Army impacts the people in the Cleveland area with year-round operations and social services programs changing lives of approximately 100,000 people each year.  As we focus on delivering a comprehensive program of services that benefit the needs of the communities, we need your help!

The philanthropic gifts we receive from our donors sustain our operations and are directly responsible for improving the quality of life in Greater Cleveland. Because of your past contributions, we were able to help the following in 2011! Your donations are needed more than ever!

• 842 People recieved Christmas gifts for Adopt-A-Family
• Approximately 10,000 people were served in Cleveland's Christmas Distribution
• 632 Persons served in the Corrections Program
• 81,510 Individuals received social services assistance
• 135,946 total nights of shelter were provided by Harbor Light in downtown Cleveland, Ohio
• 1,109,564 meals were distributed in hunger programs
• 1,348 elderly people visited in hospitals, assisted living and nursing homes
• 567 people were treated in our substance abuse programs
