I've known for years about the good work the Salvation Army does, particularly for those who are so often forgotten by so many. A few years ago, though, it all hit me in a very personal way. I met KettleMan Sam. He said the Salvation Army saved his life; so he started ringing and singing; setting lofty, lofty, fundraising goals -- and changing lives -- including my own. Happy Holidays and thanks, it really, really, makes a difference.
